Galatians: Correction to Faith Study, Vol 5 No 85:

The Faith Study published yesterday has an error. I wrote that the King James Version of Galatians has 384 total words thus containing, percentage wise, a higher number of the words “faith” and “law” in it than in any other New Testament (NT) book. According to the Internet website holyword.church Galatians actually has 3084 words, not 384. In recalculating I find there is nothing out of the ordinary, percentage wise, that faith and law occur in Galatians compared to other NT books.

Since the main gist of Faith Study Vol 5 No 85 is an examination of the word “Grace” (G5485, char’is) in Galatians, my error on the percentage of “faith” and “law” there is subordinate to the main thought of that study. I’ve received several comments from readers who say they are studying Galatians in their Bible studies and thanked me for Vol 5 No 85 so all need to be made aware of my mistake.

My apologies for the error but hope the study of the use of the word grace has been helpful to readers.

Thank you, Jim Humphrey.
